R.I.P Tony Greco

Tony Greco, the deputy team of football club Racing Genk, is deceased. He passed away on March 16 due to the effects of cancer. Greco had been with the club for almost two decades. He is praised by players , fans of the club and other members of the board and the KRC Genk staff. He is said to be a father figure to the players, though sometimes strict he was always fair. Members of the board and players have said that the loss of Tony Greco will leave a huge void within the club. Greco received a warm responce from the players and fans after the game against Club Brugge in which Genk won 3 goals to 2. Current players as well as past players took to social media to mourn and to pay their respects to the late Greco who had been an inspiring figure to them all. The Phoenix All Stars Football Academy would like to pay our respects to the passing of such a great man who helped in opening the doors to some of our own players with the likes of Leon Bailey and Kyle Butler.
